I really love photographing people. It's not that landscapes and other various inanimate objects aren't interesting to me, it's just that nothing pulls my heart strings quite like the sentiment of immortalizing a moment. As human beings, we are capable of such an astonishing range of emotions and once we're felt one, we can never feel exactly the same way ever again. A properly-executed portrait captures that fleeting moment and keeps it for eternity. Photographs reveal so much about the subject and the photographer. I've gotten to know my friends so much better through my 30mm lens.

Danielle loves nature so much that she becomes it. After seeing her interactions with the wilderness, I am convinced that the same untamed air that whistles through treetops and between mountain passes is what flows through her veins. Fallen trees, seemingly untouched rock formations and trickling streams are her sanctuary and when she is exploring, she is transcendent. She effortlessly finds a home among wildflowers and along river beds. Against the night sky, she stands in neither defiance nor submission of the cosmos but sees its resplendence as a gift to mankind; a longly, beautiful being begging for an other-worldly relationship and she heeds its beckoning call.
