Wow, two years. So much has happened. My hair is a lot longer and I'm certainly a little bit wiser. I've said goodbye to old friends and made some fantastic new ones. I walked away from the house I grew up in and moved to a whole new state. I experienced death and heartbreak. I've embraced the meaning of "risk" and I'm pursuing a scary yet exciting career. I've put on a few pounds but I'm learning to be comfortable with my body. I've learned that embracing change is far less tiring than fighting against it. It is, after all, inevitable. I've made a lot of mistakes but I'm learning and growing. I'm finding that there is beauty in the imperfections and grace is all about moving forward to become a better version of yourself. I have so many words but life has been teaching me that sometimes less is more. Thank you for being here for me these past two years. Here's to two more and hopefully beyond. I'm excited to see what the future holds.
