Here's what I've been listening to lately. I really love sharing music with you guys. It pushes me to discover more music for myself so that I can pass it on. These songs, however, are not new. Because of some recent circumstances, these are more mellow comfort songs than anything. There's a nice mix of "being sad is okay,""suck it up!" and "hey sad sack, be happy!" on here. Exactly what I need to get back up again and keep working towards bigger and better things.
xo,
e.m.
Lovely post. And btw I love your blog ^^
ReplyDeleteWhat happened? Are you ok? Please know that I am thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of any of these bands. All i listen to is Hanson, Kiss and The Cure so super rad to have some new bands to listen to. I love Local Natives, they sound rad.
Nerd Burger,
DeleteYou sound ridiculously awesome! Hanson is my favorite band (of all time) and I LOVE The Cure. Woohoo! :)
And yes, Erika, I also hope you're okay. Feel free to text me anytime. <3 you!
@nerd burger: thanks so much love! Your thoughts mean a lot. Can't get TOO into it right now but basically, something cool and once-in-a-lifetime didn't work out and I was sad for a little bit. No more though, I'm back and ready for the next awesome opportunity!
Delete@wendy: love youuuu! Did you ever get my text? ;)
Awesome. Thanks! Hope you're feeling better~
ReplyDeleteI have been back to this blog psot liek 8 times now. I listen to this playlist while reading my blogs at night. So far since this post I've got albums from Woven hand, and S.Carey. So rad finding bands I like. It's been a long time.
ReplyDeleteI Love your website design, colour. I procrastinate a whole lot and never manage to get anything done.
