Friday Night Coffee Date

I don't like going out too much. I don't drink, bars are too loud, I never think ahead far enough to set reservations at a restaurant and I'm not patient enough to wait around. Friday nights are usually my time to curl up on the couch with some Chinese takeaway and some sort of (often corny) movie. This past Friday though, Brenden was home so we did something a little differently. We decided to take a little walk around town, get some coffee, and watch the ducks on the river.

I usually don't have a difficult time dressing for casual date nights but now that it's getting pretty chilly, the line between "casual" and "casual but cute" is pretty blurred. I decided to go with my usual jeans and a sweater combination and added a cute vintage clutch and lace-up ballet flats.

To add some more texture and dress it up a little more, I added this houndstooth coat from Primark. (Last seen here.)

Hope you all have a great week!

  1. I've seen coats like that so much lately, I really need to start thinking about getting one.

    1. Do it! I love mine. It's not the warmest but it's perfect for now before the weather gets *too* chilly. I don't have a link to it because Primark doesn't have an online shop at the moment but if you have a Primark nearby, definitely be on the lookout for it because it was only $35 :)

  3. Thanks for taking the time to discuss that, I feel strongly about this and so really like getting to know more on this kind of field. Do you mind updating your blog post with additional insight? It should be really useful for all of us. Dark roast coffee
