Christmas Sweater

We've all got that favorite Christmas sweater. You know-- the one that looks great with jeans and ankle boots. How about a dressier occasion? I'm thinking Christmas-sweater-and-metallic-skirt might be my new favorite combination.

I rarely wear metallics and after this outfit, I don't know why. I kind of  love them. They add so much texture and can really elevate a look. Not only did I add some sparkles with this amazing pleated skirt, I went a little wild and added some Lurex socks as well. I know. Pretty big risk for me. I love how it turned out though.

For my makeup, I kept it simple. Just some bronzer, mascara, mauve eyeshadow, and one of my favorite lipsticks. (Velvet Teddy by Mac.)
