Daily Skincare with Kneipp

Thanks Kneipp for sponsoring this post!
Ever since I turned 25, my skin has been a bit... different. Just like clockwork it went from "pretty good" to "what the heck is happening?" I've been looking for a new routine so I was absolutely thrilled when Kneipp (pronounced ken-IPE) invited me to their new store in King of Prussia-- the first in the US-- to try out some products. When I heard that everything in the store was made of plant-based ingredients, I was sold.
Sebastian Kneipp, the brand's mastermind, was an incredibly interesting person. He's called the Water Doctor and often referred to as one of the forefathers of the neuropathic movement. His philosophy is still the driving force behind the brand and consists of five pillars: water, plants, exercise, nutrition, and balance. They say "nature is the best pharmacy," and that increasing general well-being can prevent disease.
I've been trying out quite a few of their products but what I've loved most is the Almond Blossom skincare line. I highly recommend checking it out so I'm going to share my new nightly routine with you:

First things first, I start out with the Cleansing Milk. (By the way, there's no actual milk in it, all of the products are vegan!) You simply have to apply cleanser to skin then wipe off with a moist face towel. I love this cleanser because it's not harsh and doesn't dry out my skin but doesn't make it oily either. (I have combination skin-- an oily t-zone and generally dry everywhere else.)

Next up is the Face Tonic. This step will make sure your skin is refreshed and will also remove whatever's left of the cleanser. It really evens out my complexion as well, which is obviously a huge plus.

Next, it's time to moisturize. Before bed, I like to use the Face Cream and in the morning before putting on my makeup, I use the Light-Weight Face Lotion. With either, all you need is a little bit. Apply as you would with any other moisturizer.

To finish it off, lightly apply the Night Cream to make your skin feel perfect come morning.

I know it's a lot of steps but this is kind of a miracle routine. My skin feels just as good in the morning as it does right before I go to bed. It's definitely worth the extra ten minutes in the evening!

Bonus step: who doesn't love a good face mask? The helpful folks at the Kneipp store told me to use this one once a week or so. I've only tried it once but it made my skin feel perfect all day long.

If you're local, be sure to check out Kneipp's brand new store in King of Prussia.

    1. And it doesn't feel oily like a lot of other lotions, etc. do. Plus the scent is very subtle! Highly recommend it.

  2. Veggie lovers and vegetarians regularly run into dry skin issues because of not consuming an adequate number of creature fats in their eating routine. 4. Another thought is the presence of a leftover scar that can happen with careful evacuation. In the event that the mole you are having eliminated is an enormous mole or has layers of color that reach out into lower layers of your skin, more tissue should be taken out alongside the mole which could require lines and result in a perceptible scar.
