One thing I noticed while I was taking a little scroll through my blog is that I wear a lot of black and a noteworthy amount of blush and rust. I suppose I really should try to branch out more but at the same time, you like what you like, no? Best I can do is try different combinations-- and try I shall.
Ever since I acquired this little gingham skirt/top co-ord, it's made its way into my outfits at least once a week. (Together and separately-- the beauty of buying a coordinating set.) Black and white gingham is a fantastic texture to have in your wardrobe-- it's simple enough to be worn with other patterns but interesting enough to make a statement on its own. To give the already-pretty-60's skirt a mod vibe, I paired it with a retro ribbed sweater (last seen here), opaque tights, and some round sunnies.
These colors are making me so excited for spring! Philadelphia can be a somewhat sleepy town in the winter but incredibly lively and colorful when the weather breaks. Just have to make it through a few more weeks of cold. Onward!
