Pink Faux Fur

I'm not one to shy away from statement pieces but even for me, this coat is a little daring. (In the best way possible.) I mean, for someone who's been sticking to neutrals and classic silhouettes, does it get any more unexpected than pink faux fur? I think not. 

This coat is still available and it's on sale. It may be a little late to grab one in time for NYE but I'd say this would be great at beating the winter blues on a girls' night. Maybe even a good way to test the character of a prospective lover on a first date?

I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit simple but still interesting so I wore a turtleneck, cropped flare jeans, and black ankle boots. A sparkly brooch and some red lipstick finished it off.

I don't have any New Year's plans but I might have to go out (like to the grocery store or maybe a pizza place) just so I have an excuse to wear this again. Yeah?
