Day & Night

This week, I'm teaming up with Fason De Viv to show you some of my favorite looks from her Old City boutique. Fason de viv simply means "lifestyle" in Haitian Creole. Her collection is for the free-thinking woman so for these posts, I took some risks. For example, this jumpsuit is backless. Terrifying, right? I love it though, because it transitions from "cute little playsuit in which to run errands and go to meetings over coffee" to "kinda sexy" for a night on the town.

To put my theory into practice, we headed over to The Rocket Cat, a café in Fishtown. As I suspected, the jumpsuit was perfect for a little coffee date. I paired it with a simple striped tee, some clogs, and a bag from local designer Fat Fat Goose. It's HAND-SEWN! How about that?

I decided the best way to do that was by keeping it simple and a little playful. I wore a simple-but-sexy choker, wrap bracelet, and lace-up boots. I offset the sexiness with a denim jacket and geometric clutch bag. I quite like how it turned out.

My favorite detail from this piece is definitely the cutout on the front. It's a nice little peek-a-boo without being too revealing.

I had so much fun shooting these looks and I can't wait to show you more! If you're local, make sure you stop by Fason De Viv-- right between 2nd and 3rd on Arch.
